A Name That Suggests Morocco, But...

Moroccanoil has become synonymous with luxurious hair treatments, often associated with the rich traditions of Moroccan argan oil. However, despite its name, Moroccanoil are not manufactured in Morocco.
Manufacturing Origins: While the brand capitalizes on the allure of Moroccan ingredients, their main production facilities are based in Israel totaling over 80% of their production
Revenue Insights: In 2023, Moroccanoil reported annual revenues ranging between $100 million and $500 million, indicating a robust market presence
Online Sales: The brand's e-commerce platform, moroccanoil.com, generated approximately $38.1 million in online sales in 2024

Financial Growth: In 2023, Amika's projected revenue ranged between $175 million and $200 million, showcasing significant growth since its acquisition by Bansk Group in 2022 .​
Amika previously used to mention all their manufacturing plants in Israel on both their website and their products, but ever since the BDS movement has picked up on them, they’ve decided to remove ALL of their plant locations and hide it on their product bottles, only mentioning the United States.

Procter & Gamble (P&G) stands as a titan in the hair care industry, owning a plethora of well-known brands:
Brand Portfolio: P&G's hair care segment includes major names like Head & Shoulders, Pantene, Herbal Essences, and Rejoice
Financial Performance: In fiscal year 2024, P&G reported net sales of $84.039 billion, marking a 2.48% increase from the previous year.
Segment Growth: The beauty segment, encompassing hair care, achieved net sales of $3.849 billion in Q2 2024, reflecting a 1% year-over-year increase.
